There’s a saying that “small groups are the backbone of the church." Our Community Groups provide the structural support system for accountability to personal spiritual growth, where we encourage each other toward Christlikeness in genuine and trusted relationships.
We strive for spiritual health and authenticity in our relationships here at The Garden, to provide not only an entry point into our vibrant church life, but also strength, encouragement, and joy throughout life’s various seasons.
The fall term of Community Groups begins in September. All current rosters will roll over from the spring term, so if you were a member of a Community Group last term, there is no need to register. Just make sure that you are in touch with your Community Group leader(s).
If you are new and are interested in joining a Community Group, registration begins Sunday, August 22nd (space is limited).
Track A begins the week of Monday, September 6th (women's, co-ed, and GYA groups) Track B begins the week of Monday, September 13th (men's groups)
Please contact us if you have any questions:
Coronavirus UPDATE: For this term, Community Groups will meet differently according to the specific needs and decisions of each group, either 1) in-person, 2) hybrid mode, or 3) virtually using the Zoom platform.
If you are not a part of Community Groups but are interested in joining one, we would love to have you be a part of our community! If you want to socially connect with others and get involved with spiritual growth and prayer, especially during this time of mandated physical distancing, please contact us and we’ll get you connected.
Hello -- we’re Eric and Mindy Cheng. Fifteen years of marriage and three kids later, we’re still young at heart and on fire for God. Eric is passionate about worship and teaching God’s Word. Mindy has a heart of hospitality and service. Every Friday evening, we will be hosting a brand-new CG for single brothers and sisters. Our hope is to grow a vibrant spiritual family where each member can deeply engage with God, with one another, and with the broader community. We invite you to join us, roll up your sleeves, and ENGAGE!
Hello, I'm Mario Listiawan, I have the privilege of leading the co-ed Young Adults group with both Eric and Mindy Cheng. My prayer and hope is that you will be able to be engaged, and find a community to belong (to grow in faith and fellowship with one another). I'm a huge board game fan and a big foodie. Hit me up if you like to play some games and try new places to eat.
