Transforming Visitation Rooms into Spaces of Comfort & Hope
The Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) supports children and families who have experienced abuse or neglect. At the Chatsworth DCFS office, dedicated visitation rooms give children and parents a place to spend meaningful time together as they work toward reunification. During an especially difficult season of separation, these spaces can offer connection, comfort, and hope.
Together, we have an opportunity to help transform these rooms into warm, welcoming, and safe spaces where families can reconnect and children can feel cared for. A team of Garden volunteers will paint and decorate the rooms and provide new furniture, toys, and other essentials, creating an environment where families can share meaningful moments and children can build positive memories.
Every donation makes a difference. It’s not the size of the gift that matters most, but the love behind it, as a reflection of our church’s shared commitment to caring for neighbors who are walking through hardship.
Thank you for your generosity and compassionate heart. We pray that these gifts will bring encouragement, joy, and a lasting sense of care to the children and families who spend time in these rooms.
