ITARA is a program developed in partnership between The Garden Church and Best Family Rwanda.  Itara empowers Rwandan women to earn a sustainable income and become leaders in their communities. Itara artisans produce beautiful products that are cherished globally.  

ITARA means "light" and our goal is to shine a path forward out of dependence into a sustainable, confident, and bright future for Rwandan women and their families.
