Vacation Bible School

Join our VBS team this year as we guide kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, our True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!

Philippines
7/23 to 8/1
This summer, we are partnering with Deaf Ministries International by serving the students and staff at Bicol Deaf Action, a deaf school in Ligao (a city in Bicol, a region in the Philippines). This is a K-12 school, with a total of almost 65 students, including 10 boarding students. Bicol Deaf Action is more than a school; there is a church, farm and other income generating activities in conjunction with the school.
Our team will most likely host sports and other extracurricular activities for the students at the school, and help with rebuilding/remodeling the canteen and facilities there. The priority is to build relationships with the students and staff there, sharing God's love with them, supporting their faith growth, and to observe and see the needs of their community, in order to form a long-term partnership with DMI (that can include sending a short term missions team once a year, child sponsorship, prayer partnerships, and more).
(Note: Training sessions will involve learning Filipino sign language, which has some similarities with American Sign Language.)
Age minimum of team member without a parent (by 7/23/25): 18 years old

Mexico Missions

The Mexico mission team will partner with YUGO from July 27th, Sunday through August 1st, Friday and build a 3-4 bedroom home for a family recommended by a local church in Ensenada, Mexico.
