Sunny stepped into full-time ministry through administrative roles in 2018 before beginning her first pastoral role in 2024 as Praise Director. Since then, she has become a licensed minister with the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination. Her love for singing—shaped in part by studying vocal jazz and classical voice after college—has always been rooted in worship, which she helped lead since she was in elementary school. Her deepest joy is leading others in praising an audience of One. Sunny and her husband Jihwan are proud parents to their amazing boys, Aaron and Isaac, and their beloved rescues, Ollie (dog) and Moose (cat). When Sunny is not working, she is often found practicing martial arts (I'm a proud TKD colored belt!) or working on various crafting projects while watching Korean dramas.
