A New Song

God has given me

A new song to sing

A song of deliverance

A fresh offering

He has saved me

From the miry clay

Gave me a place to stand

My troubles are outweighed

By His Holy Presence 

His Presence is enough

To carry me through everything

All life’s hardest stuff

Though the new song is familiar

Verses have new meaning

From the same Promises

New experiences I’m gleaning

I’ll sing with all my heart

I’ll sing with all my might

The new song that He’s given

Brings my God delight!
