Advent brings hope
The hope of Jesus
Long awaited Messiah
Has come to free us

Not wishful thinking
Or baseless dreams
Our hope is strong
Won’t break at the seams

Hope of God’s promise
He’ll bring it to pass
He’s given His Word
Our God is steadfast

God’s hope is the anchor
Holding our lives
Hope keeps us grounded
From hope we derive

Fresh confidence
Our future secure
Through Jesus our Savior
Our hope is sure!
