I Need Patience

Heavenly Father

Your patience I need

Things are on pause

I’m stuck in the weeds

Help me to trust

In Your perfect timing 

Lord keep my heart

from grumbling and whining

Help me let go 

of my need to control

For pleasing You 

is my life’s goal

While I am waiting

Help me to chill

To be at peace

while sitting still

Patiently Lord 

I wait upon You

Your patience slowly

is seeping through
